Why Don’t People Like Hillary Clinton? - The Onion - America's Finest News Source

Personal History
Clinton would be the first U.S. president who has had sex with a U.S. president, and that’s weird

Looks
Clinton’s image is dogged by the unrealistic aesthetic standard set by her 43 predecessors

Policy-Driven Campaigning
Dry, wonkish speeches irritate the public by reminding them there are a wide variety of issues they should be paying attention to

Ties To Big Banks
Many perceive Clinton as having a cozy relationship with the financial sector, a criticism she’s spent millions in untraceable donations trying to fight against

It's an inconsequential opinion piece. Not on the same level as pledging to deport millions of American children.

what american children?

ok i know ive been sounding a lot like a gop'er these days and im really not. but here i go again...this is dumb:

im in favor of PP and think they do good work and all the crazy restrictions states try to pass to put them out of business are petty. but i also think in this case the dems could have gone along with it even though its not the best. its not one of those crazy add ons like totally defunding them or allowing for an increase of fracking or whatever insane shit people try to slip into bills. its just saying that they dont get any of the fed money to fight zika. now yes, PP seems like the perfect place to help in the zika fight seeing how pregnant women are the most susceptible but it seems like the dems think that its better no one get any aid money at all just to make a point.

Planned Parenthood provides free and low cost contraceptives. They should be utilized to distribute contraceptives to prevent microcephaly. The opposition to that is yet another attempt to subvert the law of the land.

US born children of immigrants, so-called anchor babies.

No, Dems think it's better that everyone get aid money; Repubs are the ones trying to make a point, using people's lives.

The whole thing is idiotic, since PP already does not get any federal funding for abortions, and never will. But republicans feel they need to cut funding for everything else they do, because saying so will garner support from their Christian-right constituents.
