CALGARY - Tragedy struck a Calgary wedding yesterday evening when five people were killed and a dozen injured after former prime minister Stephen Harper decided to make a candid, topless appearance during the bride and groom’s photo session.

“We were all laughing and smiling. It was perfect,” said distraught bride turned widow Stephanie Lester. “Then all of a sudden I felt this paunchy shadow behind us. I turned around and there he was, smiling with his shirt off.”

“Everything just went kind of black after that,” she added.

That's an unnecessarily long read (as written), and my opinion is that it's mostly bullshit. Here's a telltale sign of a bullshit editorial: misleading facts. "This slowdown in productivity has decreased gross domestic product by $2.7 trillion in 2015—about $8,400 for every American." Let's go to the chart -

The chart does not show year-to-year GDP, rather it shows year-to-year percent GDP growth. So in this chart, GDP has not actually decreased since 2009. In 2015 (the year referenced in the article) GDP grew 1.98%; that rate is slightly less than the 2.47% rate it grew in 2014 - the growth was $2.7 trillion less - but that's not a decrease. In general, GDP growth has been strong from 2010 on (when we officially came out of recession).

The point he's trying to make is bogus. Yes, technology makes old things obsolete, that's life, live with it. He fails to mention that a strong push towards (for example) solar energy would create the millions of jobs he's looking for. And Bernie took-in and spent the same amount as Hillary - another bogus point. And Trump is owned by corporate America, it's how he makes a living. Has he ever seen The Apprentice? I mean, really?
