And before anyone suggests otherwise: no, Bernie didn't spend less money. He raised and spent as much as everyone else; it's just that he convinced more individuals to waste their own money on his campaign.

I am not sure (nor really care) what the NRA thinks but to me arming club goers is a recipe for disaster. Statistically the odds of a crazy coming into a club somewhere in USA is astronomically low. But the odds of a dispute over a girl on the dance floor are somewhat higher. With the hormones raging and the alcohol flowing, judgment is impaired. Rather than maybe a bloody nose or rolling around on a sticky floor which happens now, odds are one of the gentlemen in question may wind up with a bullet hole in him if everybody was armed.

(And the whole story above sounds sickeningly like the story inside the song "Copacabana". So don't let club goers turn into Barry Mannalow. Make them disarm.)

Well it so happens that the NRA agrees with you; Trump is the one that wants all the drunk clubbers to be packing heat. But the big picture is this: if drunks in a club situation shouldn't have guns, what about the public in general? How many unstable people are there on the subway, or a movie theater, or concert, or mall, or on the highway? How many of those people have issues with rage, or may be on strong meds, or may need to be on strong meds? How many guys just had a restraining order taken against them, or had an emotional breakup? Or maybe they're drunk, or on heroin, or crack, or oxy? There's this bogus idea that there are "good guys" and "bad guys", like in a Chuck Norris movie. It's bullshit.

"In court, Huckabee argued that the anti-gay-rights rally was a "religious assembly... signifying joy and praise at the release of Mrs. Davis" from jail. A religious event would classify the act of playing the song as "noncommercial" and allow him to cite "fair use" -- letting him play part of the song without paying for it.

But that argument fell apart when the songwriter's lawyer pointed out that Huckabee claimed the rally as a presidential campaign expense.

He is now petitioning the Federal Election Commission to let him start a separate legal defense fund to pay off the settlement. However, the FEC just issued a draft opinion last week saying Huckabee should pay the costs himself."

It's his Christian responsibility to pay those he owes
