The Phillies won the pennant last night! I don't get to rejoice very often as a Philadelphia sports fan, so here's congratulating the Philadelphia Phillies organization and the Philadelphia fans. Now let's go all the way and win the World Series!

Now we'll see who they'll play in the World Series soon.

October baseball is the best.
 
I like the Phillies hitting a lot, but I think Tampa Bay's bats are going to inflict a lot of harm. They would also have home field advantage(provided the fans can step up).

I'm just glad they put an end to the Dodgers year...everything else is gravy.

Same here. Its been good so far.

Cubs eliminated.
White Sox eliminated.
Dogers eliminated.
Red Sox hopefully eliminated tonight.

Its been a good year.

And congrats Phillies and thanx for removing the Dogers.
 
Boy, the Red Sox are playing out of their fucking heads for their lives.

Gotta hand it to them, that's pretty clutch so far.
 
Congrats to the Phils! Anyone but the Mets is my motto.

Now if the Rays can just finish off the Sox, I'll finally be able to focus my full attention on football.
 
Philly might get a chance at beating their old manager in the WS. I don't think they want that though...if Boston ends up coming back and beating Tampa, I don't think Philly will have a chance. The Sox will be too hot, have too much confidence. It'll be a repeat of what they did to the Cards in '04 and the Rockies last year. If I'm a Phillies fan, I'm rooting for Tampa.

I agree. I went to bed last night and the Rays were up 7-0. I turned on XM in the car this morning to hear "The Big Chair" say that the Sox won 8-7. I couldn't believe it.
