The Phillies won the pennant last night! I don't get to rejoice very often as a Philadelphia sports fan, so here's congratulating the Philadelphia Phillies organization and the Philadelphia fans. Now let's go all the way and win the World Series!

I like the Phillies hitting a lot, but I think Tampa Bay's bats are going to inflict a lot of harm. They would also have home field advantage(provided the fans can step up).
I'm just glad they put an end to the Dodgers year...everything else is gravy.

Philly might get a chance at beating their old manager in the WS. I don't think they want that though...if Boston ends up coming back and beating Tampa, I don't think Philly will have a chance. The Sox will be too hot, have too much confidence. It'll be a repeat of what they did to the Cards in '04 and the Rockies last year. If I'm a Phillies fan, I'm rooting for Tampa.
I agree. I went to bed last night and the Rays were up 7-0. I turned on XM in the car this morning to hear "The Big Chair" say that the Sox won 8-7. I couldn't believe it.
As a Yanks fan :bigcry:, I can assure you that the Sox can be an explosive team. Never count them out.
