Mom/Dad of the Year Awards

I'm a downer with these stories lately but here's another one:

This is perhaps worse that the baby rape I posted yesterday. This kid was 4 so he was old enough to be consciously aware that he was starving to death. That pic of him begging for food is so sad, I can only imagine how bad the video must have been. And he died. Poor boy. This stepmom deserved way more than 25 years.

This brings the case to a close. The wife, Lori Vallow Daybell, was already sentenced. These are the nuts whose kids went missing, and they fled to Hawaii and got married. Then the kids' remains were found in the yard. And the guy's ex-wife, who was thought to have died in her sleep, had been murdered. They were part of doomsday religious cult.

Jurors weigh death penalty after finding Chad Daybell guilty of killing his first wife and second wife’s 2 children

It doesn't mention if the kids were being super annoying that day or anything like that so I'm leaning towards it was a poor decision by the dad.

Dude this one is fucking hard to watch and I fall asleep fuck up crime stories every night because Pam got me into various YouTube channels that do them.

Anyway, in this one the first cop that talks to the dad gets so worked up that he has to leave and send another account in because he's about to lose his shit on the dad Is and I totally understand. That dad deserves at least a good beating.

Pam and I have been keeping up with this story. It's fantastic. She has me watching all that shit like dateline but it's random YouTube women who do it and usually those stories are horrific. It's like The stepfather beating up a toddler or like a baby getting eaten by rats like the one I posted before shit like that. It's freaking horrible.

So while this guy is a douchebag, it's actually like a fun change of pace from what I'm used to these days. Also he's a grown adult man. He didn't have to go through all this bullshit. You're allowed to just up and leave. I mean he would have had to pay child support for the kids but he's not forced to stay there and he's not forced to tell them that he's leaving. He could have just gone and then sent them an email once he was there.

After leaving the lake, he rode an electric bike about 70 miles (110 kilometers) through the night to Madison, the sheriff said. From there, he took a bus to Detroit, then boarded a bus to Canada and got on a plane there, the sheriff said.

Nothing in the article about fake ID or anything. Crossing the border to Canada wouldn't you have to provide ID?

When I saw there where new posts on this thread today? I figured you guys were talking about this story.
