Brad Paisley has sung the National Anthem at four World Series games:

2017 game 2, Dodgers-Astros (11 innings)
2018 game 3, Dodgers-Red Sox (18 innings)
2024 game 1, Dodgers-Yankees (10 innings)
2025 game 3, Dodgers-Blue Jays (18 innings)

I'm thinking of writing a parody of Paisley's 2008 hit Waitin' On A Woman titled Waitin' For The Game To End.
There were only 5 games that went to extra innings. The 5th was in 1916. Brad Paisley had a conflict on that day.

Hello, sports fans! This is Steven, here at the Hectic Art Useless Baseball Trivia desk. (I'm saying this in my very best Howard Cosell voice.) The Red Sox won the first five World Series they appeared in: 1903, 1912, 1915, 1916, 1918. The Blue Jays (1992, 1993) and Marlins (1997, 2003) won the first two World Series they appeared in. If the Blue Jays beat the Dodgers in game 6 or game 7 this year, they will become only the second team to win the first three World Series they appeared in.

Four World Series were a best-of-nine. In 1903, the Boston Americans (Red Sox) beat the Pirates 5 games to 3. In 1919, the Reds beat the White Sox 5 games to 3. In 1920, the Indians beat the Brooklyn Robins (Dodgers) 5 games to 2. In 1921, the Giants beat the Yankees 5 games to 3.

The 1912 Giants-Red Sox World Series was eight games. In game 2 (at Fenway Park), the teams were tied 6-6 after 11 innings. The game was called on account of darkness and was never completed. The Red Sox won the Series with a record of 4-3-1.

9th inning, Blue Jays had runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out but Dodgers made a double play and won the game 3-1 to force a game 7.

If the Dodgers beat the Blue Jays today, they will become the ninth team to win World Series games 6 and 7 on the road. Well, they would actually win in a stadium – but you know what I mean. They will join the 1926 Cardinals, 1934 Cardinals, 1952 Yankees, 1958 Yankees, 1968 Tigers, 1979 Pirates, 2016 Cubs and 2019 Nationals.

In both the 2nd or 3rd inning the bottom of the inning was delayed because the Dodger pitcher failed to show up to the pitchers mark before the inning break timer was done. The issue was with $Ohtani$ who was the last out or on the bases in the previous inning. While $Ohtani$ does have a special rule for him to remain DH when pulled as pitcher, there is no $Ohtani$ rule giving extra time between innings. The umpires finally got off their ass and addressed this by taking away 2 warm up pitches in the bottom of the third. Won't be a problem going forward.

Letter from Roger Walton of North Hills in today's Los Angeles Times: "Am I the only one tired of Wheezer and Mr. Mumbles calling the World Series for Fox? One of the reasons Vin Scully was the greatest was you could hear and understand everything he said."

Yes, and Scully also shared statistics, stories and anecdotes about almost every player – and, unlike Joe Davis, he pronounced every "g" at the end of gerunds and present participles. Among the words in Davis's vocabulary are runnin', lookin', seein', throwin', goin', tryin', knockin', slidin', hopin', strugglin' and scorin'.

In Canada we had Sportsnet which was covering the games as long as the Jays were playing. We got excellent coverage and did not have to watch FOX at all.
