Maybe they'll come out with a paprika-scented Axe body spray.

The Lever House was an important building in the evolution of the skyscraper and it has was influential for the New York urban planning.
An early example of the International style, it was one of the first buildings to use a curtain wall system. (That's where the facade is is skin of usually glass and aluminum that hangs from the floor slabs, instead of having windows that are punched through load bearing masonry walls.)
It allowed for floor to ceiling views and ushered in a new era of design that broke from traditional design aesthetics.
The design provided extra public plaza space as a concession for avoiding building setback regulations. (Another topic.)

Since Disney+ is integrating Hulu and may eventually phase out the Hulu brand, and with Fox already owning Tubi, I wonder if they will try to create a new service to fill the role Hulu once had.

In some ways, Netflix feels like it has become Hulu's replacement.
  • Tubi — Video-on-Demand (VOD)
  • Roku — Live TV and original programming

As a die-hard Roku guy ( hell, I bought a cheap Amazon Fire TV recently & put a Roku stick on it to get the interface I wanted ), I am not happy about this. My assumption is that it's only a matter of time before Fox fucks it up.

Roku was founded in 2002 by Anthony Wood, founder of 1998-2005 DVR company Replay TV, and launched its first streaming player in 2008. The name means "six" in Japanese; it was Wood's sixth business venture. Roku also manufactures Smart TVs and owns three streaming services: The Roku Channel, Howdy and Frndly TV. Yes, "Frndly." I wonder if the name was inspired by Fall Out Boy's Thnks Fr Th Mmrs.

Jeffrey Kesler, Paramount's lead trial counsel, today told CNBC's David Faber that the company is prepared to file an appeal with the Supreme Court if the merger continues to be delayed or blocked. Shares of Paramount Skydance closed today at 9.28, a drop of 0.27 (2.83%).

California, 11 other states sue to block Paramount’s purchase of Warner Bros.
The move comes a month after the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division approved the $111 billion deal.

Why is it that almost every proposed merger – whether of banks, airlines, supermarkets, restaurant chains, automobile manufacturers, food companies, oil companies, pharmaceutical companies, broadcasting companies, movie studios, television networks or other businesses – is the target of a lawsuit seeking to block it? Shares of Paramount closed today at 8.21, a drop of 0.28 (3.30%).

Why is it that enormous companies keep mergering until we'll be left with one massive company that we'll all be slaves to?

In the 90s there were the big six record labels. Then it was the big 5. Then 4. We're down to 3. And soon they'll be owned by UniversaDisneOmcastFlixMazon and we'll all be paying $500/month to stream music. And that same company will charge $750/month to stream movies and TV.
