This moron couldn't leave his painted toilet at the Burbank Town Center mall in his home town. No, he had to come to the Americana mall here in Glendale.

The cheerleading program at a Londonderry High School in New Hampshire has been temporarily suspended in response to allegations of bullying and harassment

'School officials have recently become aware of extremely concerning allegations regarding a toxic and pervasive culture of bullying, harassment, and discrimination on the Londonderry High School Cheerleading Squad ... 'Unfortunately, these allegations encompass the entire cheerleading program, including the coaching staff, student athletes, and parents.'

The parents too??

On the radio, the newsperson said the parents are now complaining. Not because the story isn't accurate, but because they found out about the suspension of the program at the same time everyone in the world did, and some felt the program didn't need to be suspended.

This high school is in a rich town and ranked in the top 10 in NH (#7 according to US News). Sarah Silverman was born there. And I live about 25 minutes away.

High school students in Bedford, New Hampshire, allegedly snapped inappropriate photographs of girls’ body parts, graded them, and circulated them to their peers in the form of trading cards, according to school officials.

In a message to families Friday, Superintendent Michael Fournier said a group of freshman and sophomore boys had taken pictures of 11th and 12th-grade girls without their knowledge. Bedford High School Principal Bob Jozokos sent an email to parents saying the photos were of the girls’ breasts and buttocks and that some of the students created trading cards with the photos that included “grades” of the girls’ bodies.

According to a WMUR report, school officials interviewed 35 students Friday, and two of the photos were shared with administrators. In those photos, girls wore swimsuits, shorts, or tops. Jozokos said at least two students received the images, though more may have seen the photos through the Snapchat app.

A Change.org petition created by a Bedford High 12th grader calls for permanent expulsion of the boys. As of Saturday, the petition had collected over 2,500 signatures of its 5,000-signature goal.

While I don't condone the behavior, I wonder if a group of girls did the same thing, commenting on cute boys' butts pecs and abs, if there'd be a petition for permanent expulsion.

If there were camera phones when I was in high school, this would have happened.

You would hope that kids would know better all ready, but at least they weren’t naked pictures.

The article doesn't say if they were naked or not. If they were, they have grounds for expulsion and charges as child pornography. If not, a sternly worded letter on the permanent file is likely the only option. What law did they actually break? They never 'published' the photographs so no release was required. It is highly unethical but not sure if it is illegal.

I saw the line that said:

and assumed that if the pix were worse, that they would have mentioned the child porn distribution thing.

It sounds like the boys should get in trouble, but not have their lives ruined for being stupid.
