Not having a convenient place for presets (sets, as 98 might call them) is a deal breaker for me. It’s probably been a couple of years since I listened to the SXM app. Read this thread, opened the app which led to the big update, and yeah I’ll stick to SXM in the car, and my music collection, cloud based, on my phone.

There is still a place for your favorites/presets, but they call it "Library" instead. It's not intuitive, in an east spot to notice, and not customizable.

If on iPhone, click on App Store app, click your settings button on top right, swipe screen down to refresh, see if there’s a pending SXM update.

The Black-on-black look is the latest trend.

I'm sure I can try the same thing in the Google play store, but based on the reviews here, I see no reason to hurry it along.
The word online (reddit, etc) is the entire interface (web, app or otherwise) is hot garbage! I'd give it a week or two.

I hope so. It's hard to understand why they would roll out a car crash without proper testing when they have one that worked OK already.

A minimal / simple interface would be great. Giant channel logos and tiny now-playing fonts are useless.

Some CEO had a schedule and ignored IT when they said it needed another month and some beta-testing.
My impression, over the nearly 20 years I've subscribed, is that both hardware (radios) and software (streaming) are the lowest priority. They existed as a satellite-based provider. Their priorities were satellites and channel lineups. They never offered a really good radio; they were all clunky and underperforming. And while most software companies rolled out constant updates and refinements, they'd go years between versions.

It's the same with the channels. They play the same promos, jingles and bumpers they did 20 years ago. They even still have Madison. The publicity pic for THSS is the same airbrushed promo from when Howard signed in 2004. They spend zero money on improvements if at all possible.

These logos...oy.

The whole thing reminds me of the late 2000s. Hey! We have Lance Armstrong and Tony Hawk and Oprah and Martha and the Coach K Show and....

Then in really small print ...hey, if you like actual radio talent, we suppose we can serve up Howard Stern, Opie and Anthony, Ron and Fez, Bubba the Love Sponge, Scott Ferrall... But wouldn't you rather listen to Oprah and Harrison Ford instead?

Biggest complaint I'm reading is everyone lost their favorites (which actually got moved to 'Library' in the app), I'm also hearing it works with Siri on HomePod and Carplay (Siri, play SiriusXMU on SiriusXM) but now Google and Alexa don't work.

Because they can't shake the 'Legacy Media' label, they're still run by old radio when they're transitioning to new tech, still run by old radio. I'm surprised they still have DJs, never mind the numbers that they do.

I am probably one of the very few that likes having the DJ’s. Brings the radio feel without the commercials.

I'm okay with them as long as they aren't that intrusive and don't try to become bigger than the music (glares at Madison), but if their whole goal is to attract the younger audience, they're going to have to lose them at some point.

I generally prefer DJs. As long as they're insightful. None of this "a recent survey says 77% of women prefer men with curly hair... *honk honk* *slide whistle*" banter. Talk about the music or GTFO
