A big enough boat on the open water, maybe. I still think the risk of capsizing is high. But if you are close to the shore, you will be part of the storm surge and get killed when your boat slams the side of a building.I didn’t watch the clip but we have numbskulls here too who swear that staying on the boat is their safest option. I don’t get it
There was one a couple of years ago, they had cameras in the eye. You saw people walking their dogs and stuff taking advantage of the quiet.I remember visiting my mother and stepfather when they lived in Florida. The hurricane hit with whipping winds and a lot of rain. Then it got quiet. We went outside and he explained the eye of the hurricane was over us now. It was eerily peaceful, in a creepy way. Then a little later the wind picked back up and the rain came back and it whipped the house for a while again.
Like everyone else, I thought Anderson Cooper was past this point in his career. Watch at least until shit starts hitting him.
I guess global warming really is a hoax. I feel so much better now.Can say this now since hurricane season is over. Other than the poor folks in the Caribbean, for the rest of us, easiest hurricane season ever. Nothing entered the Gulf.
