I'm not making money reviewing a 10-page article, so I won't be going point-to-point. He lists people as being first-time guests, who have done the show many times. He makes it seem as though he's never gotten big-name celebrity interviews before last week. He basically skips over the last 15 years of Stern's career, including AGT. He repeatedly masquerades his opinion as fact or consensus.
The article begins by suggesting that Ellen is unaware of things Stern said 15, 20, 25 years ago; when in fact she's personal friends with Stern, and has done his show several times in recent years. Of course, you know all of this, so I'm not going to continue.
And no, everything on the internet is not all equivalent. The New York Times should be evaluated differently than the guy who posts as monsterchildren.com. It's an obligation we have as a society. Otherwise, we stop vaccinating our kids, and elect bad people.
