If I had a kid who wanted to be the opposite gender I'd support them and let them wear whatever clothes they want or anything else supportive...but I don't think I'd let my child get any medical procedures. Certainly not an elementary or middle school aged kid. I'd just be worried they might want to go back to their original gender at some point and wouldn't want to have allowed them to have a procedure that made that impossible. Once 18, do what ya want and I'll still support them.
What do you guys think of this?

My friend's kid Daniel has changed gender identity a few times, using acronyms I've had to search on Google, then still didn't quite understand. They've changed their name to Jayden to Dylan and now Ghost. So yeah, nothing permanent until 18, and maybe a waiting period even then, IMO.

When I was in 6th grade, all the boys were sent to the gym and the girls were given 'the talk' about having a period. Sex ed was taught in my high school. Pick an age and draw a line. Below the line, no sex talk. Above the line, sex talk. Simple.

Little kids say stuff, and they ask questions that can be awkward.
I don't see anything wrong with a kindergarten teacher answering a kids question by saying that "some children have two moms, and some have two dads." and then dropping it.
I don't know how may kindergarten teachers are explaining what scissoring or docking are. I kinda doubt that those kind of conversations have really happened.
This whole thing is an exaggerated non-issue.
