1) I had about 6 pounds of food in my belly from an awesome dinner.
2) The weather in PA got REALLY bad - ice, sleet, snow, etc. - and I wanted to keep my wife company on the drive home.
3) I had work at 1500 today.


We'll make up for it soon enough, I suppose.

I'm feeling a little . . . slow today. Not a full blown hangover, but slow.
I had a bottle of Goose last night. I'm pretty surprised that I don't feel worse.

Samichlaus = Santa Claus in Swiss German... brewed only once a year on Dec. 6.

It had a good flavor, but it was a bit strong for me. Had to sip it, and needed some eats to help me finish it, lol.

Amen to that. I was in Cleveland last week again for work, and after we grabbed dinner and a few drinks, a couple of us hit the hotel bar for a brandy.
I haven't had brandy since I was 18. I still don't like it. It just tastes like alcohol to me.
