On the other hand, you and me running any place would be less like Lurie and Roseman, and more like Steinbrenner and Martin. I think the difference (and with all due respect!) between my philosophy on running a forum, and your philosophy is the difference between Star Trek and Spaceballs.

I am going to start my own board in the not too distant future that will be any number of different topics. Including Current events, Politics, History, Technology, Entertainment, Pop Culture, Sports, Games, R-Rated Discussion, and General Discussion, in that order.
No forum for pantry window talk?We could comb the desert to find our similarities.

Oh ok, we are different. Once I start paying for this place there will only be 3 total forums:
Eagles Talk
Let's Mock Hectic
Everything Else
At some point we may expand and include:
Canada Sucks
as a forum but I'm still on the fence about that one.
It will be far more streamlined and user-friendly that way.

Btw, we had our friend who's a carpenter remodel the pantry. I'll have to post pictures.
And you're trying to convince us that it's a good idea that you take over????Oh ok, we are different. Once I start paying for this place there will only be 3 total forums:

I think you already have mine.
Many of my co-workers called me Thomps.
I'm also one of those 20. It's not too hard to guess my email, and I didn't need to add no stinkin' numbers. Of course, for communications of a more professional nature, I have Gmail.I like to brag about my email address because I'm one of the last 20 people on earth to still have AOL.
I no longer have an e-mail from my isp. Well I might but I don't use it. I have several e-mail accounts but only 2 I use regularly. One is for spam and non-personal correspondence. If I am talking to a company I use that one. My personal one is though a provider that once provided web hosting for my wife. All that has expired now but I use it for my e-mail. It uses Microsoft Exchange.I'm also one of those 20. It's not too hard to guess my email, and I didn't need to add no stinkin' numbers. If I had it I certainly would.$648/year? I'd pay 1/10th of that to keep this going. 9 more volunteers?
And I'm 4 months unemployed (why I haven't been around much lately).It's only $1.25/week

Careful, somebody's about to come along and throw the "off-topic" penalty flag.

Shiiiiiitttt y'all are ruthless!Oh shit man, sorry. You ok? If you're ok with talking about it I'm sure we'd all be interested to know what happened.
(But be warned, if you tell the story here this one guy who is starting his own forum may get mad at you for going off topic.)
