DRC May Be Nearing The End.....

Jon, does your question about Statler and Waldorf imply that DRC will shut down? Yesterday was the final day of operation for Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World. (A new Monsters Inc. land will take its place. In 2026, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will be re-themed to the Muppets.) I consider Aaron and HecticArt to be DRC's counterparts to Statler and Waldorf.

Here is a memorable bit of Statler and Waldorf dialogue from the Muppet*Vision show: "Hey, look at the guy in the Goofy mask!" "That's not a mask." "Oh. Sorry, lady!"
 
We've been getting hit by a ton of spam activity over the last 2 weeks.

I set up an account at SiriusBuzz just in case I can't get some resolution here.

Honestly, I don't think I'm big on joining another abandoned forum. Looks like the forum is getting some traffic but the last post on the blog was 2015.

Someone should just download some forum software and start fresh with a new look.

I'm off social media of any kind so that's out of the question too.
 
I haven't posted over at SiriusBuzz yet. Plus I'm probably lazy and really don't want to start all over again. I do see over there this message when you visit the site.

Today is the first day I have ever seen that message. The XMFan site used GoDaddy as a host. I have never been able to find out who hosts the SiriusBuzz site. Google AI says "A website may be suspended by its hosting provider for various reasons, including non-payment, malware infections, policy violations or excessive resource usage. Additionally, security issues, deceptive practices or hosting illegal content can also lead to suspension."

Since the site is down, at least for now, I guess we can say "Buzz off."
 
I've been crazy swamped and haven't had a chance to check in when I'd be free enough to take a phone call.
I need to try this weekend.

SiriusBuzz is down again today and the "Account suspended" message is back. I would love to be a moderator on that site. The site lists three moderators. One has not been active since 2023, another hasn't been active since 2013 and the other hasn't been active since 2011! And the home page has several news stories from 2015 and nothing more recent. I would update it – and keep it updated.

Have you checked the moderator list on this site?
 
Yes. The administrator – using the clever name of "admin" – was last here on April 2, 2014. On July 4th I will fly my Missing In Action flag in his memory.
 
Aaron and Hectic are active. The others are long gone. Aaron needs to do some updating – unless he tells me he's not the updater he used to be.

I believe Hectic eats the mod doughnuts. Perhaps Taylor just doesn't want to buy all those doughnuts?
