I don't hide my identity. I have used three different names and I have explained why I chose each one. If I ever join a fourth forum and use another different name, I will explain why I chose it. I have no secrets. And yes, there's a song for that. I like the song – but I like the album cover more. The stupid "play" arrow here covers up the best part of it.

My email address is – and my XMFan user name was – Thomps2525. My co-workers usually called me Thomps (short for Thompson) so when I got AOL I considered using the name Thomps2000 – but in the year 2000 it would be out of date. I considered Thomps2020 – but in the year 2020 it, too, would be out of date. And then I remembered this 1969 number-one song, so.......

I used LARadioRewind on the RadioDiscussions site. Frank Berry banned me from the site. He said I "trashed" RD members on XMFan. I didn't. Twice I asked him why he thought so. He never answered me. Several RD members emailed me to say I never trashed anybody and they didn't understand the ban. Frank died of cancer in September 2023.
FYI Listener and Semipenguin were on XMfan also.
When 98 joined here, I brought up the fact that he was posting the same thing on both sites. But perhaps Koop was stuck in a culvert and didn't notice.
