Other 1990s Canadian artists are Snow (Darrin O'Brien), Bryan Adams, Alanis Morissette, Jann Arden, Sarah McLachlan, Tal Bachman, Len, Barenaked Ladies, Our Lady Peace, the Tragically Hip.....and Chantal Kreviazuk, who had eight top-40 hits and three top tens in Canada but her only U.S. Hot 100 hit was Surrounded, which charted for only one week, January 31 1998, at #74. It reached #19 on the Adult Top 40 chart in that same week.

I am not going to be checking every song. If someone challenges it and you can successfully argue it was released in the 1990s (and did not chart) or show it on some chart in the 1990s I am good.

Also, I picked 20 songs out of my ass. Give me as many as you want to rank and I will enter them.

Then here is an appropriate 1990s song. Get Ready For This by 2 Unlimited charted twice on the Hot 100. It peaked at #76 on the October 10 1992 chart and #38 on the April 8 1995 chart.

I have grabbed the lists posted. When I like the post, I have grabbed it. I would ask future posters a favour. Please post your song in the format:
Artist "Song Title"
If you present it in order you do not have to provide a leading number in front. Also If you can refrain from commentary inside the list.

This will make my life easier. If any of you who have already given me only 20 want to expand just post your extentions and I will assume they start at 21.

We may be able to do a 128 song madness. We have 148 songs and I haven't even done mine yet.

Thoughts on including “Silver Springs” by Fleetwood Mac? Written in the 1970s but released and charted in the 1990s
I don't see an issue. If that is disallowed, I don't see how we can allow hits from a certain foursome who disbanded in 1970 either.

I was feeling good about my '90s list until I saw sadchild's list. There were a few artists I didn't even think of. Now I've added them to my ever growing list.

I listed 20 songs. Here are 21 through 30 – but having to use quotation marks instead of italics goes against my journalistic instincts.

R.E.M. "Man On The Moon"
Crash Test Dummies "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm"
Ace Of Base "Beautiful Life"
Phil Collins "Something Happened On The Way To Heaven"
Jewel "Hands"
Madonna "This Used To Be My Playground"
Reba McEntire "The Greatest Man I Never Knew"
George Strait "Check Yes Or No"
Hootie & The Blowfish/David Crosby "Hold My Hand"
Sister Hazel "All For You"
