I created a form with multiple choices to nominate what TV Sitcoms you would like to see in the tournament. I'll probably leave the form open for an week or less if enough votes come in early. Thanks.

I just realized that The Goldbergs is missing. It's been on for years, and is still currently airing new episodes.

I initially liked the concept of an 80's throwback show featuring a Jewish family, but we quickly tired of it.

Thank you for including ALF, Mister WolFyre. It was one of my favorite shows – "Hey, Willie, give me four! Hah!" – and I forgot about it. On the final episode of the series' fourth season, ALF was surrounded by members of the Air Force's alien task force. He was captured! The words "To be continued" appeared on the screen. We would have to wait until the first episode of season 5 to find out what happens – but the show got canceled. ALF's fate was finally revealed in the 1996 TV movie Project: ALF, which included an appearance by My Favorite Martian star Ray Walston.

Mister scotch, Gertrude Berg created – and starred in – an earlier comedy series called The Goldbergs. It was heard on radio from 1929 to 1946. A television version aired from 1949 to 1956.

I use to watch The Goldbergs, that was a great show. I added it to the voting form.

Even though I received votes from sadchild, scotch and channel98. I think, you guys would probably vote for it.

I never watched either of the Goldbergs series – but I liked Brooklyn Bridge, the 1991-93 CBS series about a Jewish family in the 1950s. It was created by Gary David Goldberg – there's that name again! – and starred Marion Ross, who had played Marion Cunningham on Happy Days, 1974-84. Art Garfunkel sang the theme song:

I just counted the votes that came in so far. I thought, I watched a lot of TV. IRBS and Scotch watch more shows then me.

I don’t know if anyone else may be interested in voting? I’ll leave the form open through the weekend and part of early next week.

I didn't necessarily watch every episode of every show I voted for (some I did). But as scotch said, I covered 6 decades of TV.

I'm sure you explained this to us, but I can't remember what the deal was.
Just never bothered. Too poor for cable. Was never a big TV person anyway (when bored after school I'd rewatch old Brady Bunches, sitting there thinking why the hell am I doing this.... again?)

After '87/'88 I always found other stuff to do. My room mate and I ('89 to '92) played music all the time instead. Next room mates ('93-'94) didn't have a TV either. Rented a room from a lady for a little while who had a tiny black and white TV I think I watched twice.
I have 8 votes in and I believe that is enough.
