What is really thowing me is that everything is in an orange hue. All the blues and greens are getting blocked by the smoke. Even inside everything seems orange.

The heatwave should break sometime tomorrow according to the news people.

It's not just the sky. My room looks orange. Probably because any natural light coming in is very orange.

Yes, the inside of the house looks almost like it does at dusk, but in a weird tint. And from the windows, the green leaves outside look strange too.

The thick smoke is doing what it did for scotch yesterday. It has blocked some of the scorching heat from the sun and kept the temperatures a couple degrees cooler than yesterday (so far).
