Wow, when I saw this, my first reaction was: what are they replacing it with? A Larry King infomercial? But the article says a news program. Well, here's the current line-up on my local NBC channel

7am: Today
9am: Today 3rd hour
10am: Today with Hoda & Jenna
11am: Rachael Ray
12pm: local news
12:30pm: Daily Blast Live
1pm: Days of our Lives
2pm: Dateline
3pm: Kelly Clarkson show
4pm: local news
6:30pm: NBC nightly news

So obviously, anyone with a brain would say they need another daytime news show.

Monthly:
$7.99 with ads.
$12.99 no (limited) ads.

Annual:
$79.99 with ads
$129.99 no (limited) ads.

This promotion for the Paramount+ and Showtime bundle ends on 10/2.

The regular price remains unchanged:
Ads/no ads
$4.99/$9.99 yearly
$49.99/99.99 annual

Seeing as the code "ITALY" for one month free of ad-free is still valid, I signed up now and immediately canceled. When my trial month runs out on 10/1, I can immediately take advantage of the above offer.

13 months of commercial-free Paramount Plus and 12 months of Paramount Plus with Showtime for $129.99 probably isn't a terrible deal.

I had Showtime months ago, but canceled it. I didn't had much use for it. Plus for some reason you couldn't bundle both together on iTunes. Now finally I am able to bundle both together on iTunes on the 1st.

Well, what's everybody got for services?

Me:
Youtube TV - $66 a month
AppleTV+ - $14.99 a month (bundled with Apple One)
Amazon Prime Video - Included with prime
Hulu - $13.99 a month (no ads)
Paramount+ 9.99 (through iTunes)
Peacock - $4.99 a month (mainly for Premier League, IndyCar, don't watch much of the regular shows)

$110 a month plus $85 for internet. Still cheaper than what I was paying for cable.

We've got local cable.
That gives us free HBOMax and CInimax.
She's got Prime, so we get that free, and Showtime was included.
We're paying for Disney+.
We've got Hulu and Paramount with ads. I don't think we'll keep those very much longer.

We pay too much.

Apparently there's a nationwide issue with YoutubeTV showing only black screen when trying to stream. I figured it was just me, but reddit and twitter says otherwise.

Haha! I should've just read this, instead of banging my head against the wall for an hour. It's back now.

Hulu is going to be one of those for me also. There's not a lot on Network TV that I watch that isn't sports. I may just watch 'Only Murders in the Building' and cancel after I'm done.

I'd like to have Paramount+ for a month or two to watch the new Beavis & Butthead movie and new season (but I'm too cheap).

The first episode is available for free online. As always, each episode is two stories. The first story (Escape Room) was really funny. The second story was bad but the Cale Dodds music video they made fun of was laugh-out-loud funny.

That's funny, as we got Peacock for 1 month too, to get season 1 of Yellowstone.
It also coincided with the Tour De France, which my wife watches. She also got to watch the newest "Downton Abbey" movie as well. Not bad for $4, or whatever it was. Now they're offering me a deal for the whole year for 20 bucks, but I doubt I take 'em up on it.

Hulu, on the other hand has been a steal for 12 bucks for the year. We've watched all of "Pen15", "Only Murders In The Building", "Pistol" & just started "Reservation Dogs", which I really like. And last weekend we watched the movie "Prey" which I really dug. I also like having easy access to the whole run of "King Of The Hill". I might end up going the "Disney Bundle" route to keep it - has anyone done that? Some of my Jayhawks games are only on ESPN+, which would be included.

I was thinking I'd keep Peacock for the Premier League, but YoutubeTV has enough of that to make a difference. And I can use the DVR if I want to watch a match.
