I really enjoyed the free preview. I got to see an HBO series I was trying to figure how to see but couldn't access it: Big Little Lies. I watched a few documentaries on HBO and saw The Martian on Cinemax. I was hoping to catch Batman vs Superman and Dreadpool on Cinemax. I never seen those movies before. And Joy which I haven't seen since seeing it at the movie theater but I ran out of time.

Kiddos to PlayStation Vue. With the UCLA/Memphis game running late on ABC, the Badgers were picked up on ESPN GoalLine until the UCLA game ended. CBS Sports Network has just been added to my subscription. I now have college football games on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN GoalLine, SEC Network, Big1oNetwork, Fox SportsNet, FS1, FS2, NBC Sports Network and CBS Sports Network.

Plus I have Big Sky on Pluto and on the regular broadcasts ABC, CBS, Fox and Stadium Sports Network.
I've been flipping all over the place

Sunday I was watching something called Game Day Live on the NFL Network, another channel on my PlayStation Vue package. Shows highlights of all the games in play.

I know what you mean Madison, I'm not really much into HBO, but I am glad it included for AT&T users and unfortunately I do watch one show Game of Thrones. But I am enjoying watching commercial free movies.

The only show, I watch on CBS is The Big Bang Theory and I'm with yea I refuse to pay extra just for one show. I would probably check out that show, but unfortunately if you want to watch the new Star Trek: Discovery show it will air a two-part premiere on CBS, before moving to CBS All Access.

But slowly and surly, cbs networks are coming to these cord cutting companies and maybe if enough people complain and refuse to subscribe to "CBS All Access" maybe CBS could do something about that show and bring it onto the main network or Hulu, Netflix?

Well I kind've caved in and purchased a $25 CBS all access gift card no credit card required at WalMart. I'll get 4 months of service. There's some other interesting choices besides Discovery. I'll use the same approach as my Planet Fitness membership (minimum 4 visits a month), watch 4 programs a month pays for the service.

After I give out trick or treat candy and watch the College Football Playoff Show, I'm going to watch season 2 of Stranger Things. I watched a little bit of season 1 last night to recall some of it. It's like a combination of Lost and Stand By Me.

We were going to start ST2 last weekend, but ran out of weekend.

I never got to watch Stranger Things II Halloween Night myself. I was too excited about the successful trick or treat night and watching the College Football Playoff Show and couldn't concentrate. But it is nice to know it's always there.

Note: I have been having a little trouble with Netflix shutting off lately.

I figured out my Netflix shutting off problem was with my Roku Express's. My Roku 3 and Sony Streamer don't shut off like that. I don't know how to address it other than not use them for Netflix. They've been working great for everything else especially the PlayStation Vue

I have been away from cord cutting for a few months now, do to a couple of things. Basically, DirecTV Now doesn't have a DVR service yet and quite a few of my shows are back on the air. I could go with on-demand, but my stupid internet provider has a data cap and I was somewhat close going over and I don't want to pay over fees.

So I still have access to my old DirecTV and DVR box. So I saved a few bucks, by lowering my data plan to watch satellite again. But my contract is finally up with stupid Cox and I been pricing other internet carriers and found a good one CenturyLink. I will have a cheaper plan, faster data again, no contract and especially NO data cap. I'll be setting it up next week and stream all the crap I want with no more overages!

The most important thing is you have the right to good entertainment and sports at the best price whether its cable, satellite or fiber optic. I have nothing against cable. It sure was great in the late 60's watching Speed Racer and The Munsters from Chicago. It's too bad prices got out of control as it went national. I've never tried Satellite so I dont' know what it is like. I'd have to say this Fiber Optic thing is the best thing I've ever have . What really got it going was the Internet TV options.

I totally agree I want to have good entertainment, sports, etc.. That why I'm sticking with DirecTV Now, it the same as DirecTV. Little by little each month, more and more channels are being added to all the packages. Since I'm an AT&T customer, I get a discount with DirecTV and all I have to pay is $10 bucks a month for 60+ channels. If I want I pay an extra $10 bucks, I would get 20+ channels and so on for all of the there packages. But I don't watch tons of channels, just the basic local channels and everyday channels like FX. TBS, USA, etc.

I have checked out Hulu TV, PS Vue, and Sling. First off Hulu TV was very confusing and expensive. PS Vue and Sling were reasonable, but they didn't much what I was looking for and comparing the prices PS Vue, Sling and DTV are pretty much around the same price. But technically I would save a bit more with DTV being an AT&T customer and I get HBO for free.

Cable was great until the prices got out of control. Satellite TV is great, better prices and more channel options. Only issues, I had if there was a bad storm which I rarely had could knock out the signal. But besides looking at an ugly dish attached to the house.

I have Cox internet which uses cable as their internet. I was going to go with CenturyLink with there fiber optic wire which is faster. I was going to sign up for the 40-80 Mbps package.

But I live in a major city and when inputted my address, it doesn't offer those 3 great deals. It says I only qualify for 1.5 Mbps? So I had to look that up, that is fast speed but not fast enough for movies, Netflix, and games.

That is f'ed up, so all this work I did went out the window. Now I can't change providers until more speed comes out to my area and I'm still stuck with crappy Cox. Well I reactivated my DirecTV Now but I can't fully use it until I find somebody better or if this future deal for Cox ever comes true.
