I still have DirecTV Now, but I still haven't decided to go with Vue or Sling. Because they offer the same channel lineup, I am looking for and plus they have a cloud DVR service. Since DirecTV Now doesn't have one and who know when they will get one.

But now after reading what Hulu TV will offer, which should include all 4 local tv networks, if those networks are online and a cloud base DVR, again if that launches when the service goes live?

Now the city is going to give the rights to our trial neighborhood fiber optic plan we had with the Utility to a local telecom provider, TDS, which will make it available to the entire city. They will also be offering a tv package. Not sure if it's one of the internet services or their own cable package. They are having a Town Hall meeting at the neighborhood school on Saturday so I'll get to find out then. I will have the option to go strictly with the internet only which is probably what I'll do I'll since I like this PlayStation Vue and like claiming I'm a cord cutter even though I get ESPN

By end of the month, I'm finally going to dump DirecTV Now and check out Hulu TV, since they have live CBS and DVR access. I was going to go with PS Vue, but since Hulu TV can access to some of the on demand lineup, even if the channels are not live.

I been trying Hulu TV free preview for nearly a week and I really don't care for it. The format is a bit hard to find shows, maybe a I'm bit loyal to DirecTV Now and plus comparing all the tv competitor plans together. DTVN and Vue has the best channel options for me and Sling has the best prices. One day I will check out Vue and Sling, but for now I'll stick to DTVN and plus I have a good deal with AT&T Unlimited Plan with DTVN where I am getting a $25 credit on my data plan and DTVN only cost $10 bucks a month and plus I get HBO for free.

It would be really nice if Hulu picks up the new Star Trek show from CBS Access Wolf.
I wont pay a fee to get CBS Access just for one show.
All in all, its great be a Cord Cutter (with access to ESPN). I've never spent more time watching tv then now. My butt is getting sore but I feel I'm getting the true value of my investment. When I was paying $200 a month for cable it felt pointless when I was only using it to watch a little college football.

I know what you mean Madison, I'm not really much into HBO, but I am glad it included for AT&T users and unfortunately I do watch one show Game of Thrones. But I am enjoying watching commercial free movies.

The only show, I watch on CBS is The Big Bang Theory and I'm with yea I refuse to pay extra just for one show. I would probably check out that show, but unfortunately if you want to watch the new Star Trek: Discovery show it will air a two-part premiere on CBS, before moving to CBS All Access.

Star Trek: Discovery - Wikipedia

Star Trek: Discovery is set to debut on CBS with a two-part premiere in "fall" 2017, before moving to All Access. The first season will consist of 15 episodes.

But slowly and surly, cbs networks are coming to these cord cutting companies and maybe if enough people complain and refuse to subscribe to "CBS All Access" maybe CBS could do something about that show and bring it onto the main network or Hulu, Netflix?

For PlayStation Vue, I am under the impression that if they pick up your local TV stations, which they don't in my area, that its an extra $10/month added to your plan.

I haven't tried Vue yet, so I don't know. But I have almost tried Sling and they have a lot of extra add on packages plans and none of those packages are local add ons. But so far I have dealt with Hulu TV and DTVN and what local channels they do have they all included in the original price tag.
