Celebrities Getting Into Trouble

Don't rich people always pay for their kids to go to more prestigious schools?
Yeah, but they usually buy a building. This was part of a much bigger scam. The money was being funneled to athletes or something.

All I think of when I hear "Felicity Huffman" is this:

To put a positive spin on this scandal, I should point out that Lori Loughlin now has an intriguing storyline for her next Garage Sale Mystery movie. :D

Mister Hectic, I'm exonerated! Cheating to get into college is a far bigger offense than you or I thought. KFI just reported that Felicity Huffman was charged with conspiracy to commit fraud and could get a sentence of up to 20 years in prison! She'll go from being a desperate housewife to being a desperate inmate. (That last line is from me, not from KFI.)

Any sort of Asian listed and you're expected to get higher than average SAT scores and held to higher standards.

They're one of those non-oppressed minority groups that, per capita, is crushing it!

I'm glad nobody noticed that my college application listed me as 60% Eskimo, 30% Native American, and half Asian.

This young woman was told to pretend to be stupid so she would be diagnosed with a learning disability and then be given extra time to complete the ACT exam. Her father is a top attorney who was named "Dealmaker of the Year" by American Lawyer magazine in 2018. His next "deal" will probably be a plea bargain.

Not a celebrity, so this doesn't belong on this thread.

Nice try, though! :)

The only attorneys who would even classify as a celebrity are Johnnie Cochran, Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden. I'm sure you've heard of them.

But he was in American Lawyer Magazine!

And it's part of the same conversation / scandal as the real idiot celebrities.

When Bill Cosby was accused of drugging and raping several woman, all the tv stations and networks that were showing his various tv series (I Spy, The Bill Cosby Show, Fat Albert & The Cosby Kids, The Cosby Show, Cosby) dropped them. With Lori Loughlin taken into custody by the FBI for her role in the college bribery scandal, I wonder if Full House and her Garage Sale Mystery movies will continue to be shown.
