#2 "Emotion"
#40 "You Keep Me Dancing"
I don't know either song. Do the 'under 40 mainstream' know either one? Or subjectively a zero hit wonder these days?
I know the first one from the American Graffiti soundtrack (my dad's record collection). NEVER heard the second one.Flamingos
#11 "I Only Have Eyes For You"
#30 "Nobody Loves Me Like You"
From the Celebrity Death Thread 2025. I don't know either song. My parents were in elementary school when these were hits.
Maybe they're like The RomanticsI remember I Only Have Eyes For You and I remember the Flamingos' previous single Lovers Never Say Goodbye, a #25 R&B hit and #52 pop hit, but I don't remember Nobody Loves Me Like You.
My parents listened to his 8-tracks as a kid. It was painful. I think he was a bigger star, perhaps on country charts.Kris Kristofferson
#16 "Why Me"
#26 "Lovin' Her Was Easier (Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again)"
Don't know either.
He placed higher on the country charts and is more known for being a songwriter (the Aforementioned 'Me and Bobby McGee' and 'Sunday Morning Coming Down', both classics.Kris Kristofferson

#8 "Catch Me (I'm Falling)"
#36 "Nighttime"
I definitely remember Catch Me I'm Falling, and was still hearing it in the 90s once in a while. No clue on Nighttime. I'd call them a subjective OHW.
Because he's one of the more known country artists for those two Top 40 hits alone, and they both get quite a bit of airplay on (what's left of) Classic Country stations, I'd call this one a no.Ray Price
#11 "For The Good Times"
#27 "Crazy Arms"
#42 "I Won't Mention It Again"
His two top 40s are 14 years apart!
