Billboard has the song name backwards. The correct order is "This Beat Goes On / Switching to Glide" based upon the order of the songs on the LP. The songs have no separation grove so they were always played together. It was obviously by design as the change in tempo though abrupt is definitely well placed.

I'm working on a new format for bubbles. I added information I that I didn't have before. I pasted the link to last year's info: Sep 18, 2021

I knew The 'Munks did "My Sharona" on that record, which makes sense in regards to when it came out. But today I learned that there's actually THREE songs from "Get The Knack" on the friggin' thing. "Good Girls Don't", which also makes sense as it was the other hit from the record. And "Frustrated", which is the final track on "GTK", & bit more odd of a choice.

Did they clean any of it up??

Such a dirty mind, I always give it up
For the touch of the younger kind

Running down the length of my thighs

And she makes you want to scream
Wishing you could get inside her pants

An in-between age madness
That you know you can't erase
'til she's sitting on your face

She'll make you crazy in the head
Better off if you were dead

I listened to little bits 'n' pieces ( I don't think I could make it thru a whole song of the Chipmunk voices ) & yeah, they did. "Get inside her pants" became "Get another chance" or something like that. I didn't catch what they replaced "sittin' on your face" with. Little part of me hopes they snuck it in. That Alvin's a filthy little shit.

That sounds like the radio cut of the real song. They never played the album version on the radio.
