42 29 Will You Still Love Me? – Chicago
47 28 Keep Your Hands To Yourself – Georgia Satellites
48 30 I’ll Be Alright Without You – Journey
That was a great one. We used to play it back when it came out. It's too bad it doesn't get played more.12: Midnight Blue - Lou Gramm
I don't hear this one enough. There are some songs to me that are quintessential rock and roll songs and this is one of them. "This Time" by Bryan Adams is another one. Not that they are the best or my favorites of all time, but they represent the rock and roll sound.
I thought these would have made it to 40.#61 Run DMC "It's Tricky"
#65 Beastie Boys "Brass Monkey"
I thought the movie would have pushed this one higher.#86 Night Ranger "The Secret of My Success"
I hated it when it came out, but it grew on me.#90 Julian Cope "World Shut Your Mouth"
Alan mentioned that Donna Allen had a bigger hit a few years later with "Joy & Pain". Maze featuring Frankie Beverly made the original and the chorus of "Joy & Pain" by Rob Base was from the same song.40: Serious - Donna Allen
Bryan Adams sang background on this one too.38: I Will Be There - Glass Tiger
I didn't realize it then, but this was a really bad remake.35: What's Going On - Cyndi Lauper
These were same background singers used on "C'est la Vie". The song made me think about pizza.29: Dominoes - Robbie Nevil
I can't believe these lyrics were in this song: "Your sweet nature darling was too hard to swallow".28: Brand New Lover - Dead Or Alive
Mark shared that he didn't remember "As We Lay". I wasn't surprised because the song didn't have a video. It was very popular on my local urban station. Shirley Murdock also sang background on "Computer Love" by Zapp.23: As We Lay - Shirley Murdock
I can't believe Rupert Holmes wrote this...22: You Got It All - The Jets
Agreed. It's awful.I didn't realize it then, but this was a really bad remake.
"Your sweet nature darling was too hard to swallow".
Close but no cigar.I'll go with your first guess.
