2017 Movies & Tv Show

Neat! What movies? Is he credited in them? If so, what's his name?
"Brewster McCloud", "Terms of Endearment", "The Sky's No Limit", a propaganda film for the Mahara Ji, some commercials, a TV series, a French documentary that was the prototype for Cops, and a bunch of other stuff. He rarely got screen credit. Mostly he worked live performances. Rock shows, ballet, opera, symphony, musicals, that kind of stuff. He was a player in the local IATSE union.

ETA: Oh yeah, he's onscreen in the end credits of "Brewster McCloud". Look for the fat clown with the big flower.

Awesome! I just watched it and he gets a good few seconds of screen time. In the pic he looks a bit grumpy but in the movie he has a big grin on his face for most of the shot. Very cool.

You're like Lourdes or Blanket, a celebrity kid.

The best I can do, is that I went to school with SNL producer Dave Wilson's nephew. And I recently attended a dinner party with Hal Linden's son. Top that.

I sold Gary Burghoff (Radar from MASH) an electric stapler in 1989.
No clue what he was doing in Toledo, or why he needed an electric stapler while he was traveling.

Here's another fun story. My cousin looks a lot like Brad Pitt. He used to do a little modeling and decided to move to New York to try to make a living from it. He got a gig working bar in Manhattan. (You need a professional head-shot photo to land a bar gig there.) He did a few runway modeling gigs, a few small local commercial type things, and some small print ads. He managed to land a national TV commercial for a deodorant that starred LL Cool J. He was on set for hours. They grabbed him and some other "really really good looking people" to stand next to the limo that LL was going to get out of. It was supposed to be a red carpet scene that showed how cool and dry LL would be in the situation because he was wearing this deodorant. So my cousin was 4 feet away from LL and he was excited because the camera was on him the whole time. It took a few months for the ad to make it to TV. When the ad ran, the focus was so tight on LL, everyone behind him might as well have been shrubs. They were all totally blurred out. He couldn't even be sure which blob was him.

I bet if he were a giant carnivores flower, they'd not blur him out

Memegirl and I saw "Kingsman: The Golden Circle" last night. We both enjoyed it. I liked the first one more, but the stunt casting in this one was probably the best stunt casting ever.

Note: "stunt casting" isn't about it casting people to perform stunt work, but the casting of unexpected celebrities as a gimmick.

It was pretty, pretty, pretty.......

It was good. There were some solid lulz with the lesbians and JB. But the whole foisting plot line was the same as S03e04 where Larry foists a nanny (Sheri Oteri) on Suzie after getting her fired for letting him use the indoor bathroom at some party. I remember cause I watched that episode like a month ago. I guess they did that on purpose...but there were no callbacks to it.

Also, everyone looked pretty much the same except Richard Lewis looks noticeably older and frail now.

I missed hearing the music.
The lesbian thing was great to me.
(Without spoilers.)
The end sequence was hysterical.

I caught it last night. It was simultaneously better than I expected, and more of the same. I did a lot of "Hey, that's Carrie Brownstein", "Hey, that's Nasim Pedrad", "Hey, that's Jimmy Kimmel", etc.

When I get paid Friday, I will buy Blade Runner (The Final Cut) and finally watch it. Plus I have tickets to see Blade Runner 2049.

I saw Mother last week at Disney Springs AMC 24. I was in Orlando for a few days. I also saw the Circus De Sole for the first time, that was good.

Fall TV: I've seen The Good Doctor, The Orville (I like), Still watch Modern Family, the Young Sheldon premiere seemed boring but I'll try some more episodes. I saw the Star Trek Discovery pilot. I was think of getting one of those CBS all access gift cards to use so I don't totally commit but get to see some more episodes.
