Harvey Weinstein Aims to Takes on NRA After Sexual Misconduct Report

This is some next level shift of focus. Weirdly, I gotta respect it. His apology statement about his history as a habitual sexual harasser goes from remorse into straight up attack on the NRA and Trump. Ha, it's a bold move.

I didn't read the whole NYT article but from what I gather it seems he pulled an O'Reilly. Honestly I don't really care. The Weinstein Company consistently makes great movies so if it's not as bad as a Cosby, Polanski or Allen I'll have no qualms seeing more of his pictures. What will be interesting to see is if he gets blackballed like O'Reilly. He's a Hollywood liberal icon who donated like .25 million to Hillary. I wonder if that will be enough for the rest of the town to give him a pass after a couple months.

Decades of Sexual Harassment Accusations Against Harvey Weinstein

I just finished watching the first Blade Runner (The Final Cut) and it was interesting, but there were some areas that it didn’t made any sense and the ending was just pure weird.

Hopefully Blade Runner 2049 will be good, but then again I’m not wasting any money on it. I’m going with couple of friends, which one of them bought my ticket for me. All I have to do is buy soda and popcorn.

My favorite "Blade Runner" is the original European theatrical release.

Was there any difference then the final cut version?

After reading some parts in that link. Basically the final cut and international cut is the same. But the final cut included the unicorn dream.

The Final Cut contains the original full-length version of the unicorn dream, which had never been in any version, and has been restored. Additionally, all of the additional violence and alternate edits from the international cut have been inserted.

From what I heard -- 2 hours and 43 minutes. And you only notice the length of a movie when it doesn't keep your interest.

The movie ticket would have been cheaper.

The theater I go to, is called Harkins Theaters. They are just like AMC, but bigger in Arizona. I buy a souvenir soda cup in beginning of the year which cost like $5 bucks. Then next time you bring it in, only cost $1.50 to refill. Yea popcorn is expensive, if you buy a large back it like $7 bucks. But you can refill it again, they prefer same day visit. But I keep my used bag and when I come back like a month later my refill is free. So today I only spend an $1.50 not bad for a cheap jew. :p

I don't want to give to much away on Blade Runner 2049, but my thoughts is it defiantly better then the first one, the movie was very long. But it explains the storyline just right. Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto all played good roles. I notice Lennie James from the Walking Dead was in it. But I would recommend it if you want to watch an nearly 3 hour movie.

My favorite part of the movie was Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford broke out singing and dancing, but Ryan was jealous of Harrison. He took out his lightsaber and told him, you're not my father and killed him. Oh wait that was from La La Land and Star Wars. :D

Stop what you are doing and watch the first half hour of American Vandal on Netflix.

It's the funniest thing I've seen on TV this year. It's a true crime mockumentary that is so utterly ridiculous and funny I was cracking up throughout. Yet it is also done in such a convincing way that I had to confirm it was fake before I wrote this.

It's about a high school kid who spray paints dicks on 27 teacher's cars and then gets expelled. Another geeky AV type high schooler then decides to make a documentary about the case and questions his guilt. The dick drawer is such an over the top meathead it's like he's from a family guy cartoon but every now and then he drops these existential pearls of wisdom that make his character even more funny.

The show is 8 half hour episodes and I can see that stretching on a bit too long but you gotta watch s01e01. It's freaking fantastic comedy television.

Give this one a shot, you won't be disappointed.

The best one today was about making uranium fuel pellets. It was a two parter. First part was mining the uranium with remote controlled equipment. Second part was refining it and turning it into pellets packed in zirconium tubes.

ETA: the whole episode was "Endoscopes, Megaphones and Uranium". I love the poetry of the incongruous topics.

How about Modern Marvels?
They have gripping episodes like; Toothpicks, Dust Pans, and Shoe Boxes.
