I meant that GLOW was a series not a movie.

What do you all think of Netflix's original programming giving a whole series at the same time where you can binge them all at the same time.
Sometimes I do that then you have to wait like a whole year for the next season. I think Hulu's original programming gives you one show per week.

I'm also checking out GLOW and looks like it based off from the old 80's wrestling show. I use to watch that show all of the time, my old favorite wrestler was Big Bad Mama.

I don't mind it.
Watching on my schedule is cool, but there's something I like about having to wait the next episode airs that I like too.

Waiting for the next Saul, for instance, gives me something to look forward too.
It also reduces that amount of time before the next season gets released.

Why not just watch one episode each week?

I hear ya about the anticipation being fun but I love the Netflix/Amazon model. In fact I make a point to save most shows until the season is just about over before I start watching because I rather watch in either a straight marathon or with just a day or 2 in between episodes.

I prefer to binge watch my shows now, in the past waiting for each week was ok. But now when shows go on hiatus for about 2 or 3 times a season, after a while I almost forget what has happened.

I'm about to finish the pilot of GLOW and the show is alright, but hey I reconize one character Salty 'The Sack' Johnson who played John Morrison on the WWE and now Johnny Mundo on Lucha Underground.

Apparently the show had a lot of cameos from WWE wrestling stars.

Of coarse you would be more attracted to today women then those ladies in the 80's.

Ok so from a little research Brie's character isn't exactly based on a real person but from that pic it looks like the woman in the front in green with the dark hair is her counterpart. Brie is hands down the winner in a comparison between the two.

It's not as simple as that, because other people - friends, family, social media contacts, reviewers, publications - have watched the whole thing. So you have the double hit of feeling left out, while also being susceptible to spoilers.

I've gone for years avoiding spoilers. I never feel left out. Wherever I am and whatever I'm doing is the best, always.

Really, I thought Brie would be playing as the one holding the axe?

I'm up to episode 4 and I see Brodus Clay, somebody call his mama.

I'm digging the show so far, plus I'm a wrestling fan and I enjoy the 80's soundtrack.

His sci fi is always fun. This was an enjoyable watch. D9 started out as a short film so who knows where he will go with this.

The Circle is not good. I should have known from the reviews but I like the book so much I wanted to like the movie. It's a mix between 1984 and an Atwood dystopia I love to go on and on about. Now I know that books are almost always better than their film adaptation but in sci fi I often find that distinction to be less true. Not the case here. With Boyega, Watson, Hanks and Gillian they had the star power but it didn't manage to save it. The boy, who is now a man, from Boyhood is also in it and he is not a good actor. Maybe it was the role but he was bad. It's sad too cause I want to like him after seeing him grow up in that movie that made him a few years back. There are plot points that are all wrong and subtleties that whoever wrote the script don't even attempt to convey. Also it's Bill Paxton's last movie so it's a bummer it sucks. Don't watch it.
