Ferris beat Empire Strikes Back but lost to New Hope. Yet many here have said they prefer V to IV. Curious.

One other thing I will take out of this is .... I will see if Office Space is on Netflix. If so many of you voted for it, it must be worth 2 hours of my time.

So I saw Office Space. I enjoyed the movie. It would not have been in my top 10 and I would not have changed my vote but a good movie. Working for a big corporation, the cake scene hit pretty close to home.

Also seeing it, the style looked vaguely familiar so I googled Mike Judge. I have seen one of his other movies "Airheads".

Office Space is awesome and required viewing for anyone that works in, well, offices.

I had a large client that we were doing about a dozen buildings for. Their initials were TPS, so we had great fun with the TPS report cover sheet bit.

Much of my career involved developing test program sets. Our group was called the xxx TPS development group, and the things we produced were called TPSs. We actually had TPS reports with cover sheets.
