Genre: heavy rock/radio metal

Discovered: Co-worker mentioned she liked them before their breakout hit "So Cold", but I didn't get into their music until that song.

Other: One of a handful of 90s/00s heavy rock bands still cranking out good tunes in the 2010s (Chevelle, Drowning Pool & Nonpoint are a few more examples).

Other: Just a casual fan. Really enjoyed seeing footage of him in the WBCN movie that came out a while ago.

Other: Adams: "I think [‘Summer of ’69’ is] timeless because it’s about making love in the summertime. There is a slight misconception it’s about a year, but it’s not. ‘69’ has nothing to do about a year, it has to do with a sexual position…At the end of the song, the lyric says that it’s me and my baby in a 69. You’d have to be pretty thick in the ears if you couldn’t get that lyric."

I always liked this song:

Other: Every once in a blue moon there's a group that releases a song that becomes a big hit and I hate it but years later, the song "clicks" with me -- suddenly I "get it" -- and I like it. Dee-Lite "Groove Is In The Heart" is one example. Cake's "The Distance" is another.
