I saw "Zodiac Killer" last night. It was made while the Zodiac was killing. The filmmaker had a crazy scheme to use it to catch him. He figured the Zodiac couldn't resist coming to see it in San Francisco, so he rented a theater and got Kawasaki to donate a motorcycle for a giveaway. A guy was hidden inside the motorcycle display checking the handwriting on the entries. He would give a signal to the filmmaker's friends to jump out and grab people. They didn't catch him.

The film was much better than I expected. Very low budget but a fascinating set characters and interesting plot structure.

Our programming director invited Ted Cruz to host. Ted didn't respond.

Saw it on Wednesday. It's not bad. Funny you post that video cause I just finished re-watching Spider-Man 2 like an hour ago.

I wouldn't imagine with the future generation, when they want to watch Spider Man 2. They will be so confused, with which version 2004, 2014 or the sequel to Spider Man Homecoming.

I was listening to The Film Vault, my favorite movie podcast, and one host said Homecoming was the best and the other said it was the second best behind 2004's SM2. While I didn't think homecoming was amazing, I did like it and do think it's the best of the bunch.

I just saw Spider-Man Homecoming and it was great, quite a bit of action, laughter. The trailers did show some of the good scenes, but I was a bit surprise and of Michael Keaton played a great Batman Vulture.

The way the trailers aired, I thought Robert Downey Jr. was in the whole movie, but in selected scenes so that good. So comparing this against the other two versions of Spider-Man totally better then Andrew Garfield, but I still prefer Tobey Maguire original Spider-Man.

I've been rewatching the series. I still have to get through seasons 5 & 6 before I start with the new episodes.

If you had no life, like I did for the past couple of months. I binge watched an entire show once a week, at least 1 season a day.

Good luck on that, that at least what 20 hours of shows. 10 episodes a season, kinda sucks season 7 is only 7 episodes. I will watch each show once a week, but the final week of the last episode, I will probably do one last binge watch of season 7 for a refresher.

Just finished watching S7E1 of Game of Thrones, it was alright. A lot of buildup preparing for the war, now only 6 more episodes left.

You know just because they made it, doesn't mean you HAVE to watch it. You can just move on.

I know, but the show is somewhat good and I want to know what happens towards the finale.

Hell I even torture myself watching all 6 seasons of Lost, even though the pilot episode was pretty much the answer all season long towards the finale. They were all dead and dreaming of weird crap.

The one show I'm looking towards is Legion, that show was a mind bending twist in every episode and unfortunately the new season won't premiere until February.

Saw War for the Planet of the Apes today. It was good. Not great, but a fun summer movie.

This week has 2 of my 3 most anticipated summer movies coming out with Dunkirk and Valerian. I am def more excited about the Nolan picture but I love The Fifth Element and Valerian appears to be Besson's new sci fi epic in that same vein. I may trek out to Delray to see Dunkirk in IMAX. My theater has what they call XD, it's a shitty, smaller version of real IMAX and I don't want to miss seeing another Nolan movie in the best possible conditions. I'm hoping Dunkirk will unseat Logan as my favorite movie of 2017.

I really hope Valerian does well because I like seeing big budget blockbusters come from smaller studios. And it just looks like a lot of fun.

Can the Most Expensive Indie Movie Ever Break Even?

My 3rd most anticipated movie is Detroit. Zero Dark Thirty was by far my favorite movie of that year and as a result I will always go and see whatever Bigelow puts out.

Before Apes they ran a preview for The Shape of Water, the new one from Guillermo del Toro coming out in the winter and it looked very good. One to keep an eye on.

I have the night off and were seeing the Planet of the Apes. Those movies have been around forever but I don't think I've actually ever seen one. I'm afraid of apes and gorilla's even at the Zoo.
