Isn't that the jobs of remakes --- destroy the original while making tons of $$$ off the people that liked the original?
Basically, because Hollywood can't come up with an original idea anymore.

Had to rewatch Raising Arizona, pretty entertaining movie. Nicolas Cage role kinda reminds me of any early Con Air, but either way. A great film and will probably defeat Avatar, but I prefer that movie. When I was watching Raising Arizona I recognize some of the areas it was filmed, mostly in Apache Junction, Tempe and Mesa.
