Also, in Canada, all broadcast TV contracts ended on 12/31. We get RAW, NXT and Smackdown and all PPVs on Netflix.

Do you have a commercial-free package?

Netflix mentioned here that some live events would have commercials even for commercial-free packages but they would be removed at the end of the broadcast for those watching later. They also mentioned that some live events would not be available after broadcast (ie: NFL).

I have an the standard plan. I have no interest in the premium plan.

That's awesome. I believe the WWE is still on Peacock, USA and whatever else network. Raw is only on Netflix.

Also, I don't watch the WWE like I used to. I stopped watching it before covid. Every now and then I might tune in to see what is going on.

I have the premium plan and they are still showing commercials. That also happened for the NFL football games. That's ok as long as my shows have no commercials. But I was under the impression that all Netflix plans were commercial free for shows and movies

My son said they had promos for football here but not commercials.

Here is the exact wording from netflix help here:

Live events, special events or other new features may contain commercial breaks across all our plans. TV shows and movies that are not live are free of commercial breaks on ad-free experiences, but they may have other types of commercial content.

Following the end of a live event, commercial breaks will be removed on ad-free experiences.

Note: In some cases within ad-free experiences, ads may be present for a short amount of time after the event is live, but can be fast-forwarded through.

Omg Hulk Hogan came out with the loud mouth of the South. Gotta love it the fans booing him. The dude is ancient history.

Even with 4 matches in the three hours I was totally entertained with all the cameo's
It was alright, probably way too many cameos and typical results of all the faces winning on an important night.

I have been watching the WWE for over 30+ years, after a while some things are too predictable.

Like John Cena talking about winning the title for the 17th time and winning the Royal Rumble. Currently he tied with Rick Flair with winning the championship title 16 times. Of course this is Cena retirement tour, he might not win the Royal Rumble. He will probably get his way and get into the championship match and break the record.

I decided to watch Netflix Raw again tonight. Still deciding whether I will watch on my phone in the cold world or just on the comfort of my tv at home

I'll watch Raw again, hopefully they have way more then 4 matches and I'm assuming they will probably go back to there regular storyline as the heels dominate.

Nice to see the WWE signed Pentagón. Last time I saw him on TV show Lucha Underground. He was pretty great against Prince Puma. "Zero Fear"

I will watch the 3rd episode of Netflix Raw on my phone as I plan to go to the Y Monday night and watch the College Football Championship there. I do not have ESPN at home. I can watch both events at the same time while I do a few deep knee bends

Then next Saturday I will check out the Saturday Night Main Event assuming it is on regular NBC. I do not have Peacock

Since I still have a subscription to ESPN on Hulu, I think I'll watch Summer Slam. Just need to catch up on the storylines

I already pay enough for streaming services. ESPN is the one subscription service, I'm not subscribe too. I would like to one day. I combined Disney+ and Max as a yearly sub. I would like to see ESPN included in that plan as a year sub.

In Canada, we get all WWE stuff on Netflix. Haven't watched for a while. My son is on and off with it. There is a Smackdown in Toronto in August. Not going since it was more expensive than we would have wanted to pay.
