Why have Lou and Joey as guests when you've cut show in half?

Howard always devoted a certain part of his week to Wack Packers. I rarely found them funny (but I must say Beatle Juice was a rare find, some wonderful bits with Eric the Midget and Hank the Angry Dwarf, and Gary the Retard providing some funny moments.. even Jeff the Drunk providing some humor, particularly when Artie was around) Anyhow that was a regular part of the show, take it or leave it. But then he was on 6-11, often to 12, five days a week. Now that he is on only three days a week, four hours a day, 10 weeks vacation, with regular Sal and Richard phony phone calls to people trying to make living, tons of commercials at the end of the show, .. there is really no time for Lou and Joey shtick... Is this the best Gary can to do? Isn't the fucking Gossip Game better than Lou and Joey??

I thought the same when I read the rundown on MarksFriggin. After reading the rundown I decided that the show probably wasn't worth downloading.

Kevin Sorbo.....probably boring...no booking for you.

Lou and Joey....possibly still interesting....MUST BOOK!
It's insane who he agrees to take on and who gets dismissed right away.

Was it last week when Howard told Gary not to book more than 2 guests on a show anymore, because the show was so full of content that they couldn't get to more than that?

Howard will only take people he doesn't have to really research or research for more than a couple of minutes.

There's a lot of great guests they could get but Howard is a 16 yr old girl with his TV tastes. I'm been waiting for the "always sunny in Philly" crew and the guys from "South Park" to be on for years.

The guys from Sunny would be great. Just the fact that they created that show from nothing (meaning selling a pilot that took less than $200 to make) is amazing and would be a great basis for an interview. Then to find out how they create the shows etc... would make for a great interview.

I totally agree. I am listening to yesterday's show right now, and I just shook my head when howard announced lou and joey coming in as if it were still 1993.

btw, this show started with a great tradio call from sal an richard where they call that guy bart

howard's taste in tv is disturbing. let me run down a list of shows howard doesn't/hasn't watched:

dexter
oz
seinfeld
curb your enthusiasm
breaking bad
the wire
family guy
how to make it in america
entourage
south park
chappelle's show
always sunny in philadelphia
the office

and these are pretty much all shows that critics have deemed great across the board.

the tradio call which starts yesterday's show off is worth the download alone. I was running in the park listening to the show, and I had to stop mid stride cuz I was laughing so hard. mind u it was like 6:30am and pitch black outside and I'm out there laughing like crazy.

You guys openly admit to pirating the show?

If you hate the show why go through the trouble of downloading it?

Because then it's ok to bitch about it.

Do what I did, quit cold turkey. There's a point where the show just stops being enjoyable. Accept it and stop listening. It's a lot less angst.

Who said we hate the show? It's easy to download it. It only takes me 3 clicks of the mouse. Technically I don't believe it is illegal as I have a Sirius subscription. Therefore I "bought" the show. Just like it isn't illegal to download a song if you have the rights to the song (purchased it through legal means).

Howard: Why won't Eddie Murphy come on here to promote his movie?

Gary: He knows you're going to bring up when he picked up that guy and his foot fetish.

Howard: Oh that. He only has to say that he thought it was chick. OK time for a break. Next we have China coming in.

Shit maannnnn! Monday morning. Fours days to plan a decent show and he's dragging in that sad sack China? How can he talk about bringing in a A list non- guest like Eddie Murphy and then announce China is coming in, almost in the same breath?
