The question is, who is a) good enough to coach arguably the highest-profile football franchise in the league and b) willing to put up with Jerry's shit?
Do you see Cowher doing that? Or Marty? Or Tony Dungy? Or Jon Gruden?
Marty might--he signed on with Dan Snider, after all--but Dan effed him in the A and he may figure once bitten, twice shy.
No way he calls Wannstedt--that guy can barely coach up Pitt.

He'll command a huge contract though...shouldn't be a problem for Jerry.
Never gonna happen. Jerry (Texas sized ego) Jones will NEVER hire a coach he can't push around again. Even though that coach he couldn't push around won him some Super Bowls. Bill Cowher would never stand for it, nor would most coaches in the NFL. If Wade gets fired he will be replaced by another coach that will do whatever Jones tells him to do.

I think you are probably right. But if this season really gets out of hand for Dallas, JJ might say screw it, I want to win, whatever it takes. I want Cowher, and I'll put it in his contract that I can't meddle.
They should wise up and get rid of Romo too. Trade up for Andrew Luck, a Texas product.

Loser talk, yes, I'm used to rooting for losers in the NFL.
Plus I don't want to piss off the football gods. Look at Dallas, they have the most arrogant fan base out there, and they routinely underachieve. The football gods don't like arrogance.
