Yes, Casey Kasem once played a clown on Detroit TV while working as a DJ; he even owns a baby furniture company with wife Jean, Little Miss Liberty Round Crib Company, which was named for daughter Liberty who is now 18.

My other clues were "I was once fired for beating up one of my co-workers" and "since the merger, my classic radio shows can now be heard on both Sirius and XM".
