I saw this commercial over the weekend and did a double-take
Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit TV Commercial, 'Start Your Day Right'
A) It's disgusting, with what looks like pancake syrup and raspberry jam on a chicken sandwich;
B) "Start your day right"?! I can't imagine starting a day more wrong than this way, unless your plan is to die young.

I had chicken and waffles yesterday. The chicken was covered with blackberry/raspberry compote. It was delicious.

No, but it would have been a delicious way to start my day.
I started that day like many others, with the world's best oatmeal and coffee. Then I rode 54 miles, had three beers, then ate chicken and waffles with a fourth beer. It was a perfect day.

Me too.
I just find it offensive that, instead of offering something decent for breakfast, Chick-Fil-A says fuk-it, and pushes chicken biscuit sandwiches.

I dislike Chick-Fil-A for many reasons, but a good chicken biscuit sandwich is yummy.
Also, I bet my coffee is better than yours.

It probably is. I believe we've covered this before. We brew a pot of coffee every morning from a good quality, conventional drip machine, using specialty-store whole beans. It's not high-end, or french press, or the 4-hour process I recall that you do. What we make is better than from most chain restaurants that one would get on the way to work.
I have no idea why people leave their house to sit in a drive-thru line for 10 minutes, when they can have a whole pot of better coffee in less time. The coffee I make at home is brewing while I finish getting ready to leave, so it's only the 3 - 5 minutes it takes to get it going that counts.
