They probably had music back then, right?

In the 1990s we had Michael Bolton, Richard Marx, Whitney Houston, Tone Lōc, Vanilla Ice, Biz Markie, Warren G., Nate Dogg, Snoop Dogg, Domino, Mase, Mobb Deep, Luniz, Slick Rick, Puff Daddy, Missy Elliott, R. Kelly, LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Method Man, Funkmaster Flex, Shaggy, Sir Mix-A-Lot. Pearl Jam, Limp Bizkit, Dr. Dre, Tag Team, The Notorious B.I.G., Wreckx-N-Effect and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

If I had to give a yes-or-no answer to Mister scotch's question, I would say "no."

Sounds like the next madness is in favor of the 90s. I didn't want to burn it by doing back to back music madness. I thought of doing something small in the next one. Then we can go big again. Plus it's summer break, don't know if anyone going on a vacation.

I think that would be cool. If Wolf doesn't want to run it, I can run it. Won't be as fancy but will get the job done.
I can do it in a few months. I'm currently not in favor of doing another music madness right now.

I misunderstood Mister scotch's comment about the 90s. I thought he meant the 1990s. I'm surprised that anyone would talk about music that is older than what I talk about. The Seikilos Epitaph might date from the 90s. It is believed to date from the 1st century but nobody knows the exact year. It is the oldest surviving musical composition that includes both lyrics and musical notation.

I wonder if those who were alive in the 1890s referred to that decade as "the '90s." Perhaps some did. It was not until the 1920s when the decade began to be called "the gay nineties." And of course "gay" then did not mean what it means now.

The Old Gays might be from the 1890s? :p Either way they are pretty entertaining on social media.
