what are your opinions on the new mlb network channel???

I watched the MLB TV Network today showing the season of 1986. That had to be the best combined post season ever. BOSOX vs Angels, Mets vs Astros then the Mets vs BOSOX in the World Series. WOW

I watched that the other day.

This channel is so addicting. I was watching last week, then I noticed it was 3 hours later. :idunno:

That could very well be the best baseball post season ever. That Mets/Astros extra innings game was heart wrenching. BoSox/Angels was extremely exciting and the culmination of the World Series was unbelievable.

It would be difficult to find another post season as good as that year.

That's good news. Torre usually give a good interview. It will be interesting to see what Costas asks him about his new book.

I read something somewhere about David Wells getting all bent about the book. Is it just me or does Wells seem a beer short of a six pack?...

Larry Bowa was on MLB TV Hot Stove League last night. He used to be one of the morning hosts on XM175 Home Plate back in 2005. He was a great in that first season and I wish he was still the host.

I am currently watching the 1993 Reds/Cardinals game on MLB TV Network. It was the second game of a doubleheader. It's a shame the scheduled doubleheader has went extinct in MLB. It was a way to see almost all the players on the team in one day. They will probably never come back as teams do not want to lose an extra date. It would be interesting if the players union would accept the doubleheaders as it would give them an extra day off during the season.
