The coronavirus death toll in the United States is now 2,413 and Nancy Pelosi is not too happy with the man who told us on January 22, "We have it totally under control. It's one person coming in from China. We have it under control. It's going to be just fine."

In the 18 months ending December 31, 56 horses died at Santa Anita. Eight have died this year. On March 12, Santa Anita was closed to spectators, reporters and bettors. It's now closed completely. I hope it stays closed. Far too many horses are dying.

I had Illinois on my Fantasy COVID Team.
Not yet. Every day has been a bit different so far. Today I got on a video conference at 11:30 that lasted till 4:30. I thought it was only going to be an hour.... It was kinda fun, and good to talk to people "face to face", but it was exhausting.
Remember when the President said some white supremacists are "very fine people"? I doubt he was referring to this one:

The CEcO of Texas Roadhouse did the right thing, even if it is a marketing stunt. He’s not getting paid or any bonuses for the rest of the year and is sending his pay to their front-line employees. Hopefully the Macy’s leadership does something similar, even if it’s to help pay for furloughed employees insurance longer.
