Sal and Ronnie are dumb, WAAF-FM was a rock station in Boston which was sold and changed formats over the weekend.

We also heard from Pastor Howard, aka Reverend Stern who goofed on Baba Booey during the religious segment.

I assume those were 2 different topics?

I imagine Howard placed way too much thought into the WAAF demise, and probably made it sound representative of how "rock is dead", and that Howard's departure from FM radio was the cause. Instead of saying that stations like WAAF had their heyday in the 80s, and it's been downhill ever since because of iPods, and the internet, and streaming, and downloading etc.

Sal and Ronnie were both separately concerned over the coronavirus to the point where one of them wasn't going to eat Chinese food.

It wasn't so much the "rock is dead" as it was "yet another Christian station" and here's a whole deal on the kooky preachers who bid $10m on a radio station to make $50m off donations.
 
Chris Wilding searches for HPE's penis on Wednesday. Next Monday, Harry Styles comes in. Tomorrow, it appears we get a lot of "Baba Booey Bombs" from TV shows.

Howard also had a thing on the first "Ma Ma Monkey" mention.

I still see bumper stickers for Christian stations on AM radio ("try god"), so they're probably the only format left that has an audience for FM.
 
Howard was complaining about Jimmy Kimmel crying his eyes out at the Bryant memorial and everywhere else. Howard feels that all crying renders it meaningless. He fears that when Jimmy does his memorial, the crying will have little effect.
 
Honestly I do not get it. HPE does stupid stuff and there is a breathless report about it. I admit I did not listen to the search for his penis. Cannot imagine that it was worth listening to. Rather hear Howard read the phone book.

It was typical gross/shock stuff. The proposal was as cringeworthy as it sounds. He's obviously of lower intellect and didn't even attempt anything prior. It was all "hey...if we get married, you can stay here." It wasn't necessarily bad radio, it was just Erik not knowing the whole "dating before proposal" and how that works.

With that said, they had a "Where in the world is...High Pitch Erik's penis" parody in the style of Carmen Sandiego. It was funny/catchy.

Howard definitely knows his audience. Some like the shock stuff and others are all about the long interviews...he knows how to mix it up.
 
His bloomberg rap was silly. Kid has a small chance, actually no chance. And he doesn't know kobe and kimble actually had a relationship. If you're texting people and interacting outside of the show then you just miiiiight have some sort of feeling for that persons death. He doesn't like that kobe's death is painful for people around the world versus North America, parts of canada, and a handful of people across the world that have a US address.
