A man wearing a Fred Flintstone costume who was attempting to attack passing vehicles with a spear was struck and killed by a car on the Northeast Side early Tuesday, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The driver said he was traveling westbound toward Interstate 35 when the costumed man “jumped in front of his vehicle holding an object overhead in his hand as if he were about to strike his vehicle,” according to police.
Maybe he’d still be alive if he used a club instead of a spear.
