What if...

Part of the reason why Howard signed a three-year deal is because Robin is doing worse than we think?

Am I confused? I would think the opposite. He'd sign a deal if she's doing ok, he wouldn't if she was doing really bad.

That too.

She's probably somewhere in the middle. If she was doing really good, Howard might have been more inclined to sign for five years at three days per week.

I'm of the mindset where Howard signed because it gives Robin a spot of brightness to look forward to. If she's doing better at times, maybe that's the "flexible" part and Howard has an option to do Wednesday shows.

The "three years" piece might be because 2028 is too far off for Robin to predict what might be going on.

And the part where the staff didn't know anything until he announced? There's no way in hell Howard just walks off and leaves his staff in the dust...unless they all have written promises to be signed by Sirius. Assuming there's still a tapes team, they can stay. There's gotta be some off-air technicians and engineers who can all work on other Sirius channels. The writers? Ehh, I'm not sure.

But remember when Robin was out? All those guests were ordered to keep it quiet. There's no way in hell that Howard's staff didn't know he was back.

Coming soon to the Howard Stern Show:
June 1: JD is the phone screener.
June 2: Sting & Shaggy visit.

TBA: Wolfie follows someone who mops up jizz at a sex club. Apparently 30 people used the same bed. This was teased on the 5/20 Sternthology Live and it sounds absolutely gross. Wolfie says he has to get undressed in his garage because his wife is convinced he was doing something gross wherever he was at.

Apparently Wolfie also attended a party for people who love peeing on each other.

TBA: Hypnotist Scott Schmaren hypnotizes the staff.

Nobody ever suggests this bit on Sternthology Live. Here it is in 100% uncensored glory.

Listening to the 4/24/2003 show. Richard Christy (before joining the show) is playing a round of Blackjack (they're in Las Vegas) to win sex with an 18-year-old porn star named Nikki Norwood. Spoiler: he went over 21.

Howard then brought up this guy Richard who was going to play a hand of Blackjack for the chance to ''date'' Nikki. Howard said the guy claims that he hasn't had sex in 9 years. Howard wondered why that was because he didn't seem that bad looking. Richard said it might be a confidence thing. He said the last time he had sex was December 17th, 1993. He's only had 3 chicks in his life and they were all in that year. It turns out this guy always leaves voice mail messages about KC at their station. Howard then recognized his voice because they play those messages quite often.

Listening to the 5/5/2003 show. Howard is talking about he and Artie (and Beth and Dana) being at the Sigfried and Roy show the previous week after doing shows from Las Vegas.

Five months later, Roy will be mauled by one of the tigers and partially paralyzed. And the show would come to an end.

Listening to 5/6/2003. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is on the phone. Howard mentioned that she almost played his wife in Private Parts. She said she didn't because she "had to stay home and take care of her kids". But she did a screen test.

Not even close. Too short, too brown hair, too funny. Terrible idea anyway you like it. Maybe he was joking?

I haven't heard it so I could be wrong.

Howard briefly mentioned going down to one channel. Who knows if he's serious, but here's how I'd do it:

Monday and Tuesday
7am - Howard live until he finishes
Until 11 - This Day In Howard History
11am - Wrap-Up Show
Noon - Howard, WUS and Howard History replays

Wednesday-Friday
7am - Segments of old shows aired in 4-5 hour blocks.

Friday night: Any of those special shows they do with the musical artists. Hell, this would only add to conspiracies, but air the live interview for 45-60 minutes, then do the full interview (two hours or more) in this time slot. Not everyone wants to hear the big interview of the week, but if you do, here it is. If not, there's plenty of other stuff on SiriusXM.

Saturdays: Go deep, deep into the archives with content from the 80s and 90s.

Sunday: Reair Monday and Tuesday stuff to prep for the new live shows.

The summer rumors have started. You may remember how he was supposedly canceled for "going woke" or whatever last year.

Well, he's supposedly cut a lot of staff in favor of doing just one show per week starting in September.
