Listening again, I think the Gyllanhall interview went on a little too long too. Howard would not give up on how no woman could resist him. Later in the show there was a very funny back and forth between Howard and Robin on the importance of not letting pussy make you lose focus. Wasn't that long but it was the kind of unscripted riff I like the best about the show. I am sure Robin using the word pussy is going to be replayed over and over.

its so elementary but the dumb, clearly edited together, clip of robing saying "i need to poop" they used on mondays show really made me laugh.

Yeah, I was not even expecting to make it through much of the interview, but it was really interesting and funny. For example, Jake and Maggie are half Jewish, and his hippie parents held Jake's Bar Mitzvah at a food pantry for the homeless.

What a coincidence! Howard is half-Jewish! :D

Just think... Take the days of "Gay C" with Richard and Sal... put that on Sirius circa 2006/07 with a hint of Disney's "Let It Go" from Frozen.

The song parodies would have been utterly hilarious. Think Buttcrack Mountain...which I'm sure would be edited out of future replays.

Speaking of that, about ten years ago, callers were calling in and asking Howard if the Friday rumors were true. Howard's reply: "Yeah, we'll be taking Fridays off, but we have special programming for when we do."

...and he worked about half of 2006 before he started taking Fridays off. He even worked MLK day in 2006!

And when the guys from OutQ came in and Richard and Sal did their thing...they were "more gay" than the gay channel! OutQ even extended the invitation for them to hook up in the future...it never happened. :(

"hes intelligent, he goes to an all white school."

there is something disturbingly funny about a guy named king of all blacks being racist.

Good question. Would Howard take a week off just to attend an A-List wedding? I don't think so. I think this is an AGT live week.

Thought it was funny that after an entire career of getting up at 4:30am, Howard finally discovers the appeal of coffee. At this rate, he'll realize in about 3 more years that Beth could've been using birth control.

If anyone gets Encore Play (Encore's website/app service), they're streaming the movie "Stuck on You."

I would have moved to midday on 1/1/2006. :D...or at least when the on demand stuff became available. If it doesn't matter when he's on, then why not then?

Heck, afternoon drive...although Artie would have missed a lot of shows for NYY games. :D

Because most of his listeners tuned-in on their drive to work. On-demand only became available recently online, it's not available on satellite.
