Things That Nobody Needs

The "We Can Do This" campaign was announced in March and aimed at encouraging hesitant Americans to get immunized. In a Kaiser Family Foundation survey, 47% of people who say they want to "wait and see" before being vaccinated said paid time off to get it would make them more likely to do so, and 39% said a financial incentive of $200 from their employer would work.

Just goes to show how lazy and greedy people can be. I am waiting because of medical concerns, which I consider legit. So paying me to get it, or giving me paid time off, isn't going to change my mind. If you want to wait and see, but $200 will change your mind, you have no legit concern. You're just a douche.

Hopefully your medical concerns are alleviated soon as more of the data comes in. The numbers that have been jabbed and the amount of time since they started doing it should be answering the questions for people that have specific conditions pretty soon. The general population shouldn't have anything to worry about, especially at this point in the roll-out.
 
This is yet another warning about rising sea water which is predicted with global warming but has yet to occur. If it doesn't occur, the tides won't be any different than last time. If these guys actually made predictions that were true and not designed to be scare monger tactics, they might be more credible.

A lot of coastal land is gone. And things like New Orleans being underwater are common. The NYC subways flood quite often too. With extra high tides, coastal areas will be underwater on a regular basis.
 
I just got two pair of Lee jeans. I order them from Amazon because the size I wear is almost impossible to find in retail stores. They have one of the stupidest things I've ever seen: a pocket with a pocket in it! The right front pocket has a small pocket stitched into it. When I get new jeans, I use a razor blade to remove the pocket-in-a-pocket. I figure maybe the pocket-in-a-pocket is for keys and change – but it's unnecessary. And, as I say, stupid.
 
First of all, the little pocket is basically flat against the hip, so it doesn't interfere with sliding your hand into the big pocket. And it's great for things you want to have with you, that you probably won't need, like:
spare key
extra $20 bill
condom
Lord's prayer
Zu-Zu's petals
bookie's phone #
vaccine card

All things you'll forget about, when they get ruined in the wash.
