Things That Nobody Needs

The idea of being stuck on a ship with 9,000 other bodily-fluid-spewing assholes somehow doesn't appeal to me

The 18-deck cruise ship has capacity for 6,988 guests and 2,300 crew members.

It doesn't appeal to me either. I'd get bored pretty quickly.

Those ships seem the same as these to me.

I've been on one cruise. Disney Magic maiden voyage. I loved it, but did get a little seasick the last night and didn't sleep well.

When I read the headline and it said replaced with screens I thought it meant replaced with screen doors. I was thinking that the freezer would be working really hard to keep the air cold if only protected by a screen.

That's freaking obnoxious. If it ran the adds when there wasn't anybody near them, but turned clear when you got close, that wouldn't be too bad.

They are putting screen doors on submarines now too.

That will probably annoy me as well. Open the door and the drink you want is not there. I would prefer to see throw the glass, before I make my decision.

Half of the point of seeing through the glass is so that you can see what's inside to decide what you want to buy,
the other half of it is that you aren't letting all of the cold out of the fridge.

So they are marketing for product that isn't inside, which is a waste of money,
and now the coolers are going to run more, wasting even more money.

Hell, Kroger has figured out that by putting motion sensors on the cooler lights, they save money.
Now the video screens are on all day, and coolers are running overtime.

Another case of being able to do something, doesn't mean that you should do something.

I'll keep this clean.

Well his cannon is fully loaded and ready to aim at

I'll try it.
