While I hold the opposite opinion and think that the US shouldn't be the only nation exploring space, I saw this story today. Apparently our Mars orbiter has taken a picture of their Mars lander's crash site:

Then our orbiter made a GIF out of it and put it up on Twitter to shame the Europeans:
