The wife's car is near shutting down. They offer her like $5. I need that. They talk to me like a real dumby.

I received my speaker a week or two ago.

I just got two different emails with different tracking numbers about speakers being on their way.
 
Yup. My speaker #2 came today!

$40 got me a year of everything the SiriusXM app has (plus one car) and two speakers.
 
I got another $4/mo offer. It's free headphones this time like it was about a year ago. The deal ends on 12/31.

My original $4/mo offer was from December 2023 to December 2025. I'm now good until July 2026 at that same price because I was able to extend it two times, although it was sort of an overlap/re-do both times. If they let me extend again, I'd be good until December 2026!
 
There's an offer now for $2.99/mo for 36 months. I strongly suspect this is not for all channels.

It's only about $4 more for all channels plus headphones.
 
I just heard of the Complimentary subscription on a full subscription. I should check on that with our 2nd car and could save some there.

IIRC, they used to have a "buy one, get the second at half off" which was fun. I want to say I had that for a while, but I can't remember what I did with the second radio.

It seems a lot of people (me included) will have one car be the "radio" and use the app for the other car...and yes, it's possible with a discount like I have. $40 for a year of having an active radio is a hell of a Christmas gift!

My car radio has a Bluetooth setting, like how it has CD, AM/FM, USB and I think maybe even Aux-In. (It doesn't actually have a satellite radio built in to it.) It's a simple matter of pressing the button to get to that input/setting and then making sure my phone's Bluetooth is on, which is almost always is.

And I've even seen people driving around with the over-the-head headphones like WHYYYYY. (It's illegal where I'm at to have both ears covered while driving.)

I think I was running Aux-In back then. I believe I had to call TSS-Radio to hook me up with some sort of device that went into my then-car's FM antenna. I was kind of sad when I had to give that device up when the car died, as it would have cost more than a new device to rescue the one I had.

Then I realized the new/current car had Bluetooth.

One of the best parts is that I don't miss any content since the app is behind the radio. Going from app to radio always resulted in missed content. Now it's seamless.

I see that, too - and it drives me nuts. Sooooooooo unsafe for the driver and every one else on the road.

Hell, I got pulled over for wearing headphones while driving around 1990. And back then it was just the flimsy ones with the spongy ear covers you got with a Walkman/Discman type deal.

I was able to extend my $4/mo price from summer 2026 to make it end on 1/1/2027.

The rep seemed to hint that I wouldn't get a redemption form for the headphones since I already got them when I extended in December 2024, but it wasn't long after the call ended that I got a redemption form.
 
Nugs.net has an app with all sorts of live music. It's basically your favorite music streaming app, but nothing but recordings of live stuff.

Today is the last day to get their $100/yr promotion. I just asked the SiriusXM chat about what they could do to combine the services.

They wanted to give me their "Platinum Plan" for $11.87/mo, but then I'd lose the headphones I'm due to get in a few months as part of their "All-Access for $4/mo" plan.

But if you want "on demand" live music and can swing the $11.87/mo for a deal for Platinum, it's a hell of a deal.

I finally got to this. I settled for $8/month per car for the year with the free internet and app. Using the companion plan would be exactly more. I was satisfied with that. I'll see what I can get a year from now.
